We were looking for a color/material for the vestibule that would tie together the existing wood floors of the adjacent rooms. Yellow seemed adequate and became the design element of the bathroom. Yellow extends from the anteroom into the bathroom, is found in the closet and merges into the ceiling.
Light in the sense of transparency is another aspect. In addition to the mirror fronts on the sides, the bathroom is glazed to the vestibule, expanding the space and catching the eye. To create intimacy, there are curtained blinds.
To make the most of the room height, two bathrooms are placed one above the other. The upper room is accessible via a free-floating staircase. In terms of usage, we decided to make the bathroom for women upstairs and the bathroom for men under the glass ceiling.
