Two seminar rooms in a historicist building were redesigned. Due to the overheating of the rooms in summer, cooling was required. Since the seminar business demanded unpainted, pure white walls, we concentrated on the floor and ceiling with the design.
The seminar rooms serve as a communication venue for the energy company, so we found the individual lines on the ceiling inspiring. In addition to its cooling function, the ceiling has excellent acoustic properties.The floor was covered with carpet tiles, which echo or follow the line theme of the ceiling. However, how could it be otherwise, so the lines on the ceiling are free, on the floor still clearly directed.
The connection of clear lines over the thoughts at the table, up to the free lines at the ceiling are for us a metaphorical conversion.
